The screen capture function in Windows is quite rudimentary in many respects. To significantly improve this tool, use WinSnap, a program that adds a lot of options when taking screenshots.

First of all it offers you the possibility to select the area of the screen that you want to immortalize, choosing even the window or application that you have active. These captures are activated from the WinSnap menu or by pressing the key combination that you determine in the program configuration.

Once the images are obtained, you will be able to apply numerous effects such as borders, shadows or watermarks, among many others. To make matters worse, both this process and the process of saving files with consecutive names are carried out automatically.

WinSnap exports screenshots in JPG, TIFF, PNG, GIF and BMP format.
